Yes. In Synquil you give each person a role, and a role decides which of your connected sources, tables, and columns that person's AI can read. Nothing is shared by default — if you have not granted something, that person's AI cannot query it and cannot see that it exists, so a sales rep asking about salaries is told there is no such data rather than being refused. You can share a whole source — anything you connect to it later is included automatically — or narrow it to specific tables, or narrow it further to specific columns, such as the deal value but not the margin. You can change any of it at any time.

Yes, on the Team plan. Synquil keeps an append-only log of every query made through it: who asked, which AI tool they asked from, which tables were touched, and how many rows came back. The log covers blocked attempts as well as successful ones, so you can see both what your team is using company data for and where someone asked for something they do not have access to. You can filter it by person, table, or date and export it as CSV.

You remove them from your workspace, and their AI access ends immediately — within one request, not at the end of a session or a cache window. Any credential they had set up in Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT stops resolving to your data at that moment, so there is no window where a departed employee's AI tool still answers questions about your business. Their past queries stay in the audit log.

Yes, and this is the common case. You invite them to your workspace and give them a role that grants only what they need — your Stripe invoices, say, and nothing from your CRM or your spreadsheets. Their AI can query that one dataset and nothing else, you see every question they asked in the audit log, and you remove their access the day the engagement ends.

No. Your data is never used to train any AI model, by Synquil or by any third party. It is stored in your own isolated database and used only to answer the queries you or your connected AI tools make.

Cancelling moves you to the Free plan and nothing is deleted: your sources, schema and synced data stay where they are, within Free's limits, so you can pick up again by subscribing. If you want everything gone, delete your account in Settings — that removes your synced data, connections and credentials from Synquil. Either way, the data in your original tools (HubSpot, Google Sheets and so on) is never touched or modified by Synquil.

When each AI tool connects to your data sources separately, every tool calls a different API at a different moment and can end up with a different, sometimes stale or wrong, version of the same answer. Synquil keeps one synced, current copy of your data and gives every AI tool you use access to that same copy, so they all give the same correct answer instead of each one fetching data separately and sometimes getting it wrong. Technically, Synquil unifies your sources into one Postgres schema on a recurring sync schedule and serves it through a single hosted MCP server, rather than having each AI client make live, uncoordinated API calls to each tool.

The same question asked in two different tools, or on two different days, can come back with two different answers.
